My Callie...where has the time gone??

She is not always smiling at bath time.  This was a special moment.  :)

The girls are getting so big and way too fast.  Callie will be 4 on Aug 3rd. She weighs about 29 lbs. She is a very dainty, petite, but certainly SASSY baby girl.  She loves to dance!  Especially to her and Aunt Crickie's song "I  Got A Feeling" by Black Eyed Peas.  It has become her favorite. She has a little boyfriend named John Mason where she attends preschool.  She likes older men and is definetly the dominant one in the relationship.  Ms. Debbie, her teacher, gets a giggle when Callie bosses him around and tells him what to do.  Then Callie gets mad by the end of the day because he has had enough of her sassin. :)

She loves her baby "titser" Gracie.  She says "that's MY GRACIE"  She is so helpful getting diapers and bringing her toys and keeping her occupied....for about a minute.

She is now POTTY TRAINED!!  It took great effort on our part trying to figure out how to help her through this process.  #1 was fine...no problems.  #2....whole different ballgame.  Finally came in one night and James told me Callie asked for a "pull up because she needed more poop".  He said no get on in there and go.  So she did just the opposite and squeezed it back in and continued to hold it.  That same night, I was working late downstairs and all of a sudden Callie starts screaming that she has to poop.  So here it is midnight and the party will commence.  Let's just say the party was delayed until 2 hours later.  It was very upsetting to watch her go thru so much pain and fear, but when she finally let go, she got this huge grin from ear to ear.  Therefore, we finally had our POOPING EPIPHANY at 2 in the morning.  So Needless to say, she now waves bye bye and says see ya later at the party alligator.  The end.  :)

OMG....she actually posed AND smiled for a picture!! YEA!!!
She is her Mama's daughter.  It is all about the icing!!!

What a difference a year makes!  Mix between NO hair and bring the MULLET back at the same time. hehe

  1. My friend, Jena, went through the same thing with Bailee. She was 4 though! I'm so glad Callie jumped that hurdle. What a big girl!
