My one year old now knows how to throw a tantrum!!!!

What is going on with Gracie.  She is getting too big for her britches....literally.  Earlier today I took a spoon away from her and tried to give her something else.  She hauled off and swung and me and threw herself in the floor.  LOL  it was so funny.  I was trying to clean house today and bless her heart it took all she had to keep up from going to room to room.

My sweet baby Gracie....it wont't be long until you have caught up with your sister

Gracie will be 1, June 21st.  She weighs about 22 lbs. Yes, she is my chubby wubby is a bear---aka HOSS.
Did you catch the part about the weight between the two girls.  Callie 29 Gracie 22...OMG  Gracie is already in some 18 month clothes and wears the same size diaper that Callie just got out of.  It won't be but another year and Gracie will be wearing the same size, if not bigger, clothes than Callie.

I CANNOT believe this!!!  Where did this past year go?  It has made me sad lately at the thought that this is our last baby. I will miss those sweet moments of gummy grins, sweet cuddling, baby sugars, shiney hineys and of course those big ole thighs that I keep telling her I'm going to cut off and use them to cook a pot of white beans.  She is very ticklish, especially under her arms.  She has recently learned how to crawl on her hands and knees as opposed to the soldier crawl.  She even is pulling up on things.  She can stand up pretty good too.  I don't think she is too far from walking.  Callie didn't walk until she was 19 mos.  Gracie has been a good baby.  Considering the fact that Callie and Gracie were premature just as early as the other, we have not had near the problems or concerns that we did with Callie.

Me Cheetah....where the !@$# is Tarzan?
One thing is for sure, Gracie loves her baths.  She is all about scrubb uh dub dubbing.  She gets in there and just kicks them legs all over the place.  In fact, Callie usually ends up plum under the faucet by the time Gracie stops.

It was so sweet...I had noticed the past couple of times she has gone down today, she immediately starts to crawl to the head of the bed.  I thought she was going up there to play with the tag.  Come to find out, she wasn't playing with it....she was twiddling it to help her go to sleep.  Awwww....she is her mamas chubbers.

She is also pretty funny when she eats in her chair.  It never fails...within about 5 minutes or so she starts dozing off to sleep.

Three little Duffers looking pretty as can be!!

My Callie...where has the time gone??

She is not always smiling at bath time.  This was a special moment.  :)

The girls are getting so big and way too fast.  Callie will be 4 on Aug 3rd. She weighs about 29 lbs. She is a very dainty, petite, but certainly SASSY baby girl.  She loves to dance!  Especially to her and Aunt Crickie's song "I  Got A Feeling" by Black Eyed Peas.  It has become her favorite. She has a little boyfriend named John Mason where she attends preschool.  She likes older men and is definetly the dominant one in the relationship.  Ms. Debbie, her teacher, gets a giggle when Callie bosses him around and tells him what to do.  Then Callie gets mad by the end of the day because he has had enough of her sassin. :)

She loves her baby "titser" Gracie.  She says "that's MY GRACIE"  She is so helpful getting diapers and bringing her toys and keeping her occupied....for about a minute.

She is now POTTY TRAINED!!  It took great effort on our part trying to figure out how to help her through this process.  #1 was fine...no problems.  #2....whole different ballgame.  Finally came in one night and James told me Callie asked for a "pull up because she needed more poop".  He said no get on in there and go.  So she did just the opposite and squeezed it back in and continued to hold it.  That same night, I was working late downstairs and all of a sudden Callie starts screaming that she has to poop.  So here it is midnight and the party will commence.  Let's just say the party was delayed until 2 hours later.  It was very upsetting to watch her go thru so much pain and fear, but when she finally let go, she got this huge grin from ear to ear.  Therefore, we finally had our POOPING EPIPHANY at 2 in the morning.  So Needless to say, she now waves bye bye and says see ya later at the party alligator.  The end.  :)

OMG....she actually posed AND smiled for a picture!! YEA!!!
She is her Mama's daughter.  It is all about the icing!!!

What a difference a year makes!  Mix between NO hair and bring the MULLET back at the same time. hehe

Mother's Day Picture 2011

Let's get this thing started...

Well, I have finally decided to start a blog.  I have been meaning to do this now for a couple of years but have just let time slip by.  Bare with me with this new excursion in learning.  I hope to keep updated posts of what is going on, which is usually not much.  We are pretty boring :).  So stick around....
